HERO is a redesigned recovery support system that moves away from group meetings and toward private, one-on-one, counselor-led treatment. The project is intended for men who find typical group settings daunting, unapproachable, or incompatible with their demands on a personal, cultural, or professional level.

HERO suggests a case-by-case recovery framework that places a high priority on confidentiality, customized treatment plans, and regular counselor connections. HERO reframes sobriety not as something you prove to a room full of strangers, but as something you build within yourself—quietly, consistently, and sustainably.

For men in particular, this shift matters. It creates a space where vulnerability doesn’t feel performative, where accountability is still present but more individualized, and where seeking help aligns more closely with personal comfort and identity.

Hero is one step in that direction.
